Reformation of the Self

    Abu Musa reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “I never start a new day but that I seek forgiveness from Allah one hundred times during it.”   Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Albani

    Anas reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:   “Two deeds are quickly punished in the world: transgression and disrespect to parents.”   Source: al-Mustadrak ‘alá al-Ṣaḥi ̄ ḥayn 7350   Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Albani

  Anas ibn Malik (RA) reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:   “Verily, Allah has His own people among humanity.” They said, “O Messenger of Allah, who are they?”   The Prophet (SAW) said, “They are the people of the Quran, the people of Allah and His chosen ones.”   Source: Sunan Ibn Ma ̄ jah 215   Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Albani

    Abu Bakrah reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said,   “Verily, the quickest act of obedience to be rewarded is to maintain family ties, even if the people of the household are wicked, such that it will grow their wealth and increase their numbers if they maintain family ties.
