Knowledge of the Forms of Revelation given to the Prophet (SAW)




Al-Harith bin Hisham asked Allah’s apostle (SAW) “O Allah’s apostle (SAW)! How is divine revelation revealed to you? Allah’s Apostle (SAW) replied, 

“Sometimes, it is revealed like the ringing of a bell, this form of inspiration is the hardest of all and then this state passes after which I grasped what is inspired. 

Sometimes the Angel comes in the form of a man and talks to me and I grasp whatever he says.”

Aisha added: Verily, I saw the Prophet (SAW) being inspired Divinely on a very cold day and noticed the sweat dropping from his forehead (as the Inspiration was over)."

Tie Your Camel and Put Your Trust in Allah (SWT)

Forgiveness Is Not Stupidity

    Allah said in Surah al-Ma’idah 5:45:       وَكَتَبْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ فِيهَا أَنَّ النَّفْسَ بِالنَّفْسِ وَالْعَيْنَ بِالْعَيْنِ وَالْأَنفَ بِالْأَنفِ وَالْأُذُنَ بِالْأُذُنِ وَالسِّنَّ بِالسِّنِّ وَالْجُرُوحَ قِصَاصٌ ۚ فَمَن تَصَدَّقَ بِهِ فَهُوَ كَفَّارَةٌ لَّهُ ۚ وَمَن لَّمْ يَحْكُم بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الظَّالِمُونَ   We ordained for them therein a life for a life, an eye for an eye, a nose for a nose, an ear for an ear, a tooth for a tooth, and for wounds is legal retribution. But whoever gives up his right as charity, it is an expiation for him. Whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed, then it is those who are the wrongdoers.
